🌱 Composting Basics and Vermicomposting Workshop: Turn Your Waste into Garden Gold! 🌿

Back by popular demand, we are hosting another compost workshop and this time we will be joined by Keith from Castaway Compost will be joining us. Turn your food scraps into garden gold with the help of some wriggly friends! In this interactive workshop, you’ll learn the basics of vermicomposting—using worms to create rich, nutrient-dense compost. Perfect for gardeners, eco-enthusiasts, and curious beginners, this session will cover:

  • How vermicomposting works

  • What worms need to thrive

  • Setting up and maintaining a worm bin

  • Troubleshooting common issues

  • Harvesting and using worm castings in your garden

Participants will get to see a working worm bin in action and may even go home with a small starter kit (while supplies last).
